Recognize Your Abilities: Focus on what you can do rather than what you can’t. Everyone has unique talents and strengths—identify yours and leverage them in your personal and professional life.

Build Confidence: Believe in yourself and your potential. Confidence is key to overcoming obstacles and pursuing your goals.

Seek Support and Build Networks:

Find a Support System: Surround yourself with supportive friends, family, and mentors who encourage and uplift you. Having a strong support system can make a significant difference in your journey.

Connect with Others: Engage with communities, both online and offline, that understand your experiences. Networking with others who share similar challenges can provide valuable advice, resources, and emotional support.

Speak Up: Don’t be afraid to voice your needs and concerns. Whether it’s at work, school, or in your community, advocating for yourself and others can help break down barriers and promote inclusion.

Thank you

What the Lessprivilaged, PWDs, IDPs Other Vulnerable Nigerians Stands to Gain Should President Tinubu Considers Appointment of Dr. Tejousho as Humanitarian Minister

By Yusuf Mohammed Lawan, Gombe, August 26th, 2024

To the most neglected, most economically downtrodden and disadvantaged Nigerians especially among persons with disabilities (PWDs), Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), orphans, widows, poor, needy, women and even students of higher institutions across different states in Nigeria, who  primarily  bearers the brunt  of the painful economic situation in the country which is marred by the seeming incessant hike in the prices of essential commodities in all our market centers throughout the country, charcterised by the unbearable hardships resulted from the fuel subsidy removal that bring about risen inflation in the country and worsened by the alarming upsurge in the electricity bills, nothing can be more dearer and lovelier to these neglected Nigerians other than  president Tinubu to appoint HRM Queen Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejousho to head the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.

The Founder/CEO of Queen Adenike Foundation (QATF)  Dr. Tejousho has always been a source of consolation to millions of vulnerable communities, she had over the years used the resources of her QAT foundation to put smile on million faces through series of socially responsive programmes that are geared towards alleviating the lingering socio-economic hardships rocking the Lessprivilaged Nigerians from all works of life.

Should president Bola Ahmed Tinubu decided to listen to the clarion calls of majority of Nigerians clamouring everyday for the  appointment of Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejousho to replace the suspended minister of Humanitarian Affairs Betta Edu. Given the many experience she garnerred as a most compassionate philanropist, a kindhearted "mother of the motherless" as she was fondly called, a mother whose humanity emboded the qualities of compassion, empathy, and kindness that define humanity at its best. Dr.Tejousho's ministership could no doubt transform the lives of million vulnerable Nigerians in an unimagined ways as follows,:

 *Humanitarian Affairs*

Dr. Tejousho as a Humanitarian minister will give more priority  with the resources available to her office  on  coordination of humanitarian responses in key important areas such as: refugee empowerment registration and provision of identity document, food clothing, health care and essential items, building of befitting shelter, skills training for incomes generating activities as well as  Initiating resttlement support for refugee to resettle in Nigeria or other countries etc.

QAT Foundation staff distributing relief items in one of the IDPs camps

*Management and support for Internally Displaced Persons(IDPs):*

Through programmes like: direct support to orphanages, including proving adequate food, shelter and healthcare, reuniting them with their families as well as taken care of their education through special scholarships  etc.

 *Disaster Management:*

Tejosho as a minister of Humanitarian Affairs will ensure the timely revamping of  the neglected areas of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) of the ministry by focusing on  efforts to reduce or mitigate the impact of disaster reduction, prevention, mitigation, and response.

She will also give credence to strengthening Emergency Response instrument of the ministry by ensuring immediate actions are taken during emergency situation to save lives and property of Lessprivilaged Nigerians

Other areas under disaster management the kindhearted mother may stand tall to ensure they become operational and beneficial to the common man including the coordination of food and water distribution to affected population, provision of medical and healthcare service to the poor citizens during disaster,  evacuation and shelter management to provide alternative temporary shelter to victims of disaster among the poor citizens especially IDPs, women, orphans and PWDs etc.

 *Social Development:

As a  staunch believer and promoter of Bernard Meltzer saying, “there is no better exercise for your heart than reaching down and helping to lift someone up.” Dr. Tejousho's ministership will focus more on lifting others through the ministry's instrument of social development. As she is always do even with her personal resources, she will focus on poverty reduction efforts through several socially responsive programmes like conditional cash transfers and health insurance, education and Skills Development to  support for free education, vocational training, and skills development for children of the Lessprivilaged Nigerians.

The focus on cmmunity development support will be more intensified in order to facilitate the development of specialized  community-based projects, including infrastructure development and social services. Social Inclusion and cohesion Programs to promote social inclusion, tolerance, and national cohesion with focus on vulnerable citizens.

 *Human Rights and Protection:

Efforts to protect human rights, particularly for vulnerable populations are the primary objectives of Dr. Tejousho's QAT foundation which she strove to pursue vigorously for many years through personal resources. Availing her with the opportunity to head the humanitarian ministry will no doubt emboldened her to do more protection of human rights, specifically for the vulnerable communities including women, IDPs, PWDs, orphans, distitutes etc.

As a mother who always value the protection of humanity as a top priority, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs under Dr. Tejousho's watch will focuses mord on: protection of Vulnerable groups, that is to say ensuring the rights and safety of vulnerable populations, including women, children, IDPs, and refugees etc would be given urgent attention. Next to consider is the protection from exploitation which is an effort towards preventing and responding to exploitation, including human trafficking, child labor, and sexual exploitation that become a source of concern among poor citizens in Nigeria.

Refugee, women  and  Internally displaced persons (IDPs) rights protection are also central to Dr. Tejousho, she will strive to ensure  the rights and safety of women, IDPs, refugees and asylum seekers in Nigeria are adequately granted and protected.

A major component of Dr.Tejousho' s human rights protection as a federal minister is the protection services for vulnerable populations, including women, children, and persons with disabilities.

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) Protection under her watch as a minister of Humanitarian Affairs would ensure the full  inclusion of persons with disabilities in all  governmental policies and programmes of Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs)   throughout the country.

All these aforementioned socially responsive and developmental initiatives aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life for Nigerians, particularly vulnerable populations, and promote sustainable social progress in line with president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renamed Hope Agenda are designed to make life better for the Nigerian citizens especially the most vulnerable and economically disadvantaged Nigerians.

Give Us Political Appointments, We Have Mobilized Millions of Deaf individuals across Nigeria to Vote Tinubu - APC Disabled Leader Tells Tinubu

By Yusuf Mohammed Lawan, Gombe, August 20th, 2024.

Disappointed by apparent lack of political appointments among members of Deaf community in Nigeria in spite of the fact that the over 10 millions Deaf Nigerians has contributed in one way or the other to see the success recorded by the ruling party in the 2023 general elections that produced the All Progressive Congress APC's led leadership at the federal and most of the states level.

The APC's National Youth Ambassadors Disabled leader Comrade Musa Inuwa an indigene of Niger state, described the non- inclusion of his fellow Deaf Nigerians in the political appointments carried out by the APC-led government both at the state and federal levels as not only outrageous, discriminatory but one that calls for concern by every well meaning patriotic citizen of Nigeria.

Inuwa in a statement he personally signed and made a copy available to ANN, demanded proactive actions on the side of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, state Governors as well as those entrusted with managing the affairs of the APC to promptly address the issue of non-inclusion  of Deaf and other PWDs among political appointees.

The statement reads partly;

"With the utmost respect, I am honored to address this message to our esteemed political leaders and APC stakeholders"

"I, Comrade Musa Inuwa, National Leader for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) under the APC National Youth Ambassadors, write to express our heartfelt appreciation to our President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are grateful for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of persons with disabilities, ensuring we are beneficiaries of various programs aimed at our development and inclusion"

Commending the president for his PWDs-oriented policies that have direct bearing on the development of PWDs community in Nigeria, the Disabled leader noted that "the President’s actions in this regard are commendable, and we hope that other Governors will follow his exemplary leadership in advancing the rights and opportunities of persons with disabilities across Nigeria"

He also drew the attention of Mr. President on the urgent need to make political appointments more inclusive for all. He stated "We wish to take this opportunity to call upon our diligent and visionary President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to ensure the inclusion of the Deaf community in political appointments"

Comrade Musa Inuwa, APC National Youth Ambassadors Disabled Leader

According to him, "Such inclusion will not only promote equity but will also provide a platform for Deaf leaders to contribute their valuable ideas and perspectives on matters affecting Deaf affairs"

"It is essential that we are included in the decision-making process, as this will give us a true sense of belonging in our nation’s governance" said the Disabled leader

Highlighting the importance of collaborative action from the top ranking APC leaders to promote the inclusion of Deaf Nigerians in the political landscape specifically in the areas of political appointments, the APC Disabled leader observed that  "the support and encouragement of top APC politicians are crucial in helping us achieve this important goal. Under President Tinubu’s administration, we have witnessed a renewed sense of hope, and we trust that this will extend to the inclusion of Deaf individuals in political appointments"

" We are confident that there are many competent and qualified Deaf leaders who can make significant contributions to the government"Inuwa added.

Adding that "It is important to note that the Deaf community has been actively involved in supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the onset of the election campaign"

Notwithstanding the slight population of the Deaf as compared to other members of the larger society. The Deaf community in Nigeria in spite of their shallow numerical strength have made various contributions towards the success of the APC in the 2023 general elections.

This, according to the Disabled leader, could be manifested in "how the loyal party members among the Deaf  produced banners, stickers, T-shirts, and face caps using our own resources to support president Tinubu's  candidacy"

He also said, "we have mobilized millions of Deaf individuals across Nigeria, encouraging them to vote for His Excellency even before the primaries"

"Our commitment and sacrifices, made in good faith, were driven by our belief in his leadership and vision for Nigeria. Some of us also served as official observers during the election"

"In conclusion, the APC National Youth Ambassadors Disabled leader noted, "we earnestly request that the Deaf community be fairly represented in political appointments under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration"

"We believe that our efforts and contributions should be recognized, and that our labor shall not be in vain"

Unbeliable; How Queen Adenike’s Hmanutarian Gestures is Mobilizing Million of Youths to Support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu

Dr. Halimat Adenine Tejousho fielding questions from journalist shortly after a press conference in Abuja where she advised the public to give time president Tinubu to fix the country's economic woes

By: yusuf Mohammed Lawan, Gombe

Due to her numerous number of socially responsive humanitarian interventions she initiated in almost every part of the country that have added value to the lives of  millions of vulnerable Nigerians including the Internally Displaced Pwrsons (IDPs), widows, orphans, destitutes, women, students, youths and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Nigeria, HRM Queen Dr. Halimat Adenine Tejousho, the founder/CEO of Queen Adenike Tejousho (QAT) Foundation, has certainly become a force to reckone with as far as the president Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda is concerned.

Dr. Tejousho,  has  within a short time, impacted so many lives through her QAT foundation humanitarian activities which are visible to evryone in the country. Through the foundation she had supported hundred thousand of students with assorted scholarships, paid school registration fees for thousands out of school children of very poor background from primary, post primary to higher tatiary levels, provided assorted relief materials ranging from food items,   medicines, detergents, mattresses, sleeping sheets, clothes etc to different IDPs camps, provide start up capitals for business enthusiastic youths and women to  complement  the Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs) prohrmmme of President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda project.

Tejousho's humanitarian gestures to humanity didn't stop from there, she had also used her foundation to erect useful infrastructures such as renovating damaged classrooms  across public and private schools in the rural and grasstoot areas, renovating collapsed  houses of vulnerable citizens, providing furnitures for IDPs camps across the country and a host of other humanitarian interventions she carried out as a means of complimenting the president's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Little wonder how this kindhearted 'mother of the motherless' (as she is fondly called by million of Nigerians) who is not in the government is constantly carrying out  such kinds of rewarding and gigantic  humanitarian services to Nigerians from all walks of life using her meager resources? This is a woman who can do everything within her power to put smiles on the face of the neglected, discriminated and oppressed members of the society. This is a woman who can go hungry for hours to ensure children of the poor feeds, this is the woman who can sacrifice her sleep to ensure the poor man on the street and family sleep well.

Canversely, because of Tejousho's remarkable philanthropic gestures towards humanity which she always do in tendem with president Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda principle, million times more than those serving in president's cabinet as mininisters, she had been able to mobilize millions of people of varying backgrounds including the elderly, women and youths to believe support the president's Renewed Hope Agenda.

Tejousho's  influence  in getting more and more people to support the current administration led by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu can not be quantified. Her role in addressing the challenge of hunger in the land which is caused by the wrong economic factors inherited from the previous administration is second to non. All these could be manifested in how she is able to repel million of people from different states from joining the ill-motivated hunger protests orchestrated by the opposition and those agitating to bring the instability in the country and make it ungovernable.

Of recent is the testimony of Tejousho's huge influence in mobilizing support to president Tinubu's people-oriened administration championed by a political cum cultural group under  the aegies of  "Coalition of Concerned Kogi Indigenes (CCKI)". A group which publicly linked their refusal to join the Nationwide protest because of the numerous socially responsive humanitarian interventions enjoyed by the group.

The group made the disclosure in a press statement issued to newsmen on Friday, admitting that  they decided to key  into the Tejousho's  philosophy of given their full support to  president Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration to surmount the lingering economic challenges facing the country by given the president  more times rather than staging protests that may expose their citizens to various socio-economic challenges.

Earlier, Dr. Tejousho had in a press conference she sponsored in Abuja before the commencemrnt of the nationwide hunger protest, appealed to Nigerians from all walks of life to consider given Mr.president ample time to address the hardships rocking the nation, rather than resorting to unnecessary protest, people should exercise a little patient for the president to workout modalities of containing the challenges facing us.

Interestingly Dr. Tejousho's appeal was largerly assimilated into the psyche of every patriotic citizens of Nigeria who believed in the president's commitment to return the country into the path of progress to drive maximum socioeconomic growth in the coming years.

Notwithstanding, the persistent calls by many groups in the country as echoed by the Coalition of Concerned Kogi Indigenes recent  calls on the Mr. President to as a matter of urgency appoint Hajiya Halimat Adenike as humanitarian affairs Minister to alleviate the plights of the citizens through the ministry, is not only justified, timely, strategic but a right step in the right direction ordained by the almighty God to salvage the country from the grips of power-drunk politicians without any outstanding humanitarian records posing as humanitarian ministers to siphon public fund.
