Lawmaker Awards Scholarship to Female Deaf Student in Gombe

A lawmaker representing Pero Chonge constituency in Gombe State Houae of Assembly Hon Barr Gaius Gaji Golkos has as part of his continued support to development of  education in his constituency, awarded a scholarship to a female Deaf student of Special Education Centre, Gombe, Deborah Danladi, an SS1 student and a resident of Filiya district in Shongom LGA, Gombe state

The scholarship, Ability News Network gathered will cover essential aspects of her academics needs in the special school and extent to higher institution level.

Accoeding to the statement released by the lawmakers meadia aide, "Hon Barr Gaius Gaji Golkos award scholarship to Deborah Danladi from secondary school to tetiary institution"

"Deborah Danladi was born and brought up in filiya, the lawmaker enrolled her presently in Special Education Center Gombe, where he will take the full responsibility of Deborah up  to higher institution" 

"The scholarship granted by the Hon member is one of the essential steps toward enhancing the educational opportunities to our youth, and this will significantly impact the educational landscape of our consituency"

"The  scholarship is to ensure that education remain accessible to all, irrespective of socio-economics barriers" the statement added
