As the 2027 general elections is fast approaching, it's time to contemplate choosing a leader who, if given the people's mandate, will truly represents the values and yearning aspirations of the good people of Awe, Doma and Keana federal constituency of Nasarawa state. Hon. Mohammed Nasir Zakari perfectly fits the cap due to his proven track records as an accomplished public servant, succesful business mogul, community influencer and an astute educationist of note. He is that leader who always put the interests of the community and individuals he served at best and at heart rather than his personal interest. Indeed with his proven track record of purposeful public service and commitment to the development of his community, he is the perfect fit for the Federal House of Representatives role to provide purposeful representation to the Awe, Doma, Keana constituents in the green chamber.
Born and raised in Azara, Awe LGA of Nasarawa State, Hon Mohammed Nasir Zakari posses a vast experience in legislative matters coupled with his membership of various standing committees makes him eminently qualified to lead the Green Chamber in the 11th National Assembly.
Hon. Zakari's vision for Awe, Doma, Keana community is built on the principles of equality, justice, and opportunity for all. He is dedicated to creating permanent and penshionable jobs for the teaming unemployed youth population, improving education, and ensuring access to quality healthcare. His leadership will empower more communities to thrive and reach their full potentials.

coined it "a good objective of leadership is to help those who are doing poorly to do well and to help those who are doing well to do even better" Hon. Zakari's leadership drive is always built on such premise, as the peoples' representative, Hon. Zakari will prioritize the development of those who are economically downward while at the same time supporting those who are already at advantageous level to achieve an even more development both socially, educationally and economically.
BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION
Hon. Mohammed Nasir Zakari, a descendent of the tribe of Jukun was born on 23rd June,1972 in the city of Jos, Plateau state, north central part of Nigeria. The young Mohammed Nasir Zakari started his early education at the Township Primary School, Jos where he obtained his first school leaving certificate in the year 1984. Six years later he obtained his senior secondary education certificate at Government College Keffi, Nasarawa State in the year 1990. By the year 1994, a Diploma in Marketing was secured from the University of Jos and capped it up with a BSc degree in Business Administration, 1999, obtained from the prostigious University of Abuja. This achievement was complemented with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in the year 2010 from the same University of Abuja. Hon. Zakari's uncommon apetite for intellectual excellence eventually drove him to earn a masters in Business Administration from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in the year 2016. He did not stop there, he ensured that he is a certified computer guru by bagging a certifiate in Computer Appreciation from Fambo Consulting LTD in the year 2000. Indeed these outstanding educational succeess and accomplishments achieved by Hon. Zakari are a testament to his daring and spirited commitment to hardwork, endurance and perseverance to achieving result-oriented objectives which, if given the people's mandate, will bring to bear on his constituents.
POLITICAL CAREER AND CONTRIBUTIONS
When it come to politics, Hon. Zakari's not a new name in the game of politics, he has been actively involved in party politics, starting as an All Progressive Congress (APC)'s aspirant for the seat of Honourable Member Nasarawa State House of Assembly in 2014. He also served as a one time Snior Special Assistant to the Governor of Nasarawa State/Abuja Liaison Officer from December 2016 to 29th May 2019, a position which enable him to coordinate government activities in the FCT, Abuja carried out the daily maintenance of the Governor's lodge. He will build on such experience he gannered during his steward as SSA to the Governor to connect with relevant stakeholders within and outside Nasarawa State to bring unprecedented development to Awe, Doma, Keana Federal Constituency as elected respresentative of the people. The former SSA to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Hon. Zakari also served as a one time Senior Protocol Officer, Office of the Executive Governor, Nasarawa State from September 2007 to February 2014, in that position he was able to coordinate the Executive Governor's program and activities and any other duty assigned to him by his principal. In the administraive and management ganre, Hon. Zakari is a world class professinal in that field, he had served as chairman of Zaksons Concepts and Logistics Nig. Ltd from October 2022- till date, Chairman of the Board of Directors
MD/CEO Zaksons Investment Nig LTD from June 2019 – till date, a role he took to oversee the daily running/activities
formulation and implementation of policies and Programs of the company. Served as Associate Partner for Aimza Business Solutions Ltd, from May 2022 till date, controling Business Solutions, Local and Foreign Debt recovery Reconciliation for the company. He was a one time Commercial Officer at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Lafia, Nasarawa State from September 2003 to September 2007, with a responsibilities of handling commercial and trading activities of the ministry as the officer in charge of Keffi market ,Karu market and Lafia market .
His sting in the banking sector saw him rose to the rank of Senior Banking Officer for the defunc Intercity Bank plc (now Unity Bank) from 2002 to 2003, helping the bank in the areas of clearing and forwarding of cheques with CBN, undertook Inter bank reconciliation, debt recovery, Cash trip and any other duty assigned to him by the bank management. Before he rose to the rank of Senior Banking Officer in 2002, the seasoned financial expert also served the Intercity Bank as its Administration/Store Officer from 2000 to 2002 managing the daily stock taking, stock distribution,
stock reconciliation as well as contract award for the bank.
MEMBERSHIP OF RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL BODIES
Apart from being a member of the ruling APC Hon. Zakari also belongs to several prosessional bodies including Associate member Institute of Management Consultants (AMIMC) etc which gave him the needed proximity with different groups and associations that will partner with him as a law maker repeesenting Awe, Doma, Keana Federal constutuency to bring myriads of development to the constituents.
It is therefore important for the entire people of Awe, Doma, Keana Federal Constituency to come out enmass during the 2027 election to throw their unalloyed support on this visionary leader who is out to provide a new alternative and an excellent way of tackling existing issues facing the people of the area. Honourable Zakari's unshaking experience in business development, financial administration and public service records will be enough to bring unprecedented development to the communities he will reprent in the green chamber, he is the only aspirant that is capable of marketing the potentials and opportunities in the marked domain to the world at large. He can no doubt achieve this through: quality representation on the floor of the house through important and relevant motions, bills and laws that have direct impact on the constituents. With him in the saddle, intense lobbying for the creation of additional Federal infrastructures in the constituency as well as a bill for the establishment of a Federal University of Education through the act of legislation is top priority areas he will pursue vigorioysly.
Regular constituency engagement for feedback and prompt attention to issues of urgent importance to the constituents is of prime importance to him.
The push for massive employment of youths in all tiers of government parastatal and non government organisations through intense lobbying and negotiations is one of the core objectives of Hon. Zakari's mission in the green chamber. He will also source for and provide financial aids & grants to support small businesses in the zone.
Creating a robust system to encourage artist & creatives show case their talents and enhence their potentials for self-reliance.
Creation of Skills Acquisition programs, IT training, Seminars & Boothcamps would be his top agenda.
As an accomplished educationist who had seen it all as far as education is concerned, Hon. Zakari would provide assorted scholarship schemes to the children of the vulnerable, build new schools, renovate dilapidated classrooms structures & equipping every school with up-to-date learning facilities in order to create a conducive environment for learning for all.
A vote for Hon. Zakari is a vote for sustained push for Federal government presence in Awe, Doma, Keana Federal constituency and environment through Infrastructural developments; roads, schools and social amenities for the zone through strategic lobbying and personal network.
