He stated, "This year’s theme is "Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond". This means the world is looking at what we (Youths) in our own communities, can do to solve problems and create change without waiting for others"

"As Deaf Youths we often have common barriers which are Communication barriers, which limited access to education, and lack of opportunities for us" Adamu noted

He described all the persistent life challenges and barriers faced by the Deaf youth as surmountable, urging the younger generation to see such challenges not as a curse but as a step forward for achieving greatness.

His words, "We should not see these challenges as something to hold us back but we should see them as stepping stones. We can overcome them by advocating for our rights, supporting each other, and using creativity to find solutions"
