Shehu Garba, also known as AkaMusawa, has officially declared his intention to contest for a second term as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kaduna State Association of the Deaf (KASAD). His announcement marks a significant moment for the association as it prepares for the upcoming election scheduled for June 13, 2026.

Serving as PRO has been a journey marked by dedication, teamwork, and a deep commitment to the advancement of the deaf community in Kaduna State. Throughout his tenure, Garba has worked tirelessly to foster unity, enhance communication, and drive progress within the association. His efforts have been characterized by a hands-on approach, emphasizing action over mere words.
