A physically challenged shoe maker from Ondo state identified as Oyenwo Olayemi has appealed to members of the general public to look into the terrible situation he found himself into at this hard time and support him financially in order to prevent the only business (shoe making business) he is depending on from imminent collapse as all efforts he is making to keep the business going proved abortive.
Olayemi made the appeal to Ability News Network in a telephone chat with the ANN CEO penultimate Monday, stressing the importance of the small scale enterprise to his life ,,, says "i depend squarely on this business to take care of my daily needs, unfortunately the dearth of production materials and working equipments due to lack of fund to purchase the items has affected my business seriously and rendering me totally hopeless"
According to the information gathered by the ANN, the government that is saddled with the responsibilities of providing secure to those in the plights of Olayemi has abondoned him after enrolling him into a paid apprenticeship programme where he laboured hard to endure he learnt the trade of shoe making business which he mastered through hardworking and perseverance.
His words, "the government enrolled me into this work in the year 2017 without paying a kobo, and they left me there without paying for enrollment. But with the glory of God, my master allowed me to learn the skills without paying him"
"It is very difficult though i am deeply grateful to almighty God that now I am through with the learning since last 2 years, it is sad that no one to assist me, I am in serious need of financial help to get the tools i needed for the business to continue, so that I can be able to feed myself and continue to take care of my daily needs without having to beg anybody" Olayemi said.

Olayemi's dream of becoming an independent entreprenuer after learning the shoe making skills and mastering the art has been clouded by the absence or shortage of working materials such as workable industrial sawing machine, filling machine, different sizes of laces, different types leather, generator and other little tools which ANN understand could gulf huge sum of money.
