Alarmed with the ever-increasing number of out-of-school children especially among children of PWDs, most vulnerable and poor families specifically primary and secondary school students in the country, the founder/CEO of Queen Adenike Tejousho (QAT) Foundation HRM Queen Halimat Adenike Tejousho has Tuesday launched the "100 scholarship for Out-of- School Children" in Karonmajige, Abuja, FCT.
The scholarship award according to the philanthropist was targetted towards complementing the roll-back-to- school project of president Tinubu's administration championed under the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President
The humanitarian gesture extended to these vulnerable students ANN reports features series of events ranging from award of scholarship to fourty (40) drop-out-school primary students cutting from different schools within the karonmajige settlement, Abuja, award of scholarship to another set of fourty (40) out-of-school students of secondary schools, award of scholarship to twenty (20) students of different higher institutions as well as distribution of assorted educational materials such as school bags, tex t books, school uniforms and shoes to the affected students.
Among the schools covered by the QAT foundation scholarship awards include the L.E.A primary school Karonmajige, Government Junior Secondary School, Karonmajige, Government Senior Secondary School, Amac, FCT etc Ability News Network reports
