The Founder/CEO of Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation (QATF) HRM. Queen Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho has congratulated the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities (SSAP), Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, on the occasion of his completion of first year in office as SSAP.
Dr. Tejuosho who congratulated the senior presidential aide on Monday said the SSAP Hon. Abba has in the past twelve months demonstrated an uncommon passion for gunuine struggle for emancipation and liberation of persons with disabilities, providing purposeful leadership, respect for the constituted authorities and undilated loyalty to the president and the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APP)
The renowned philanthropist also said she was very impressive with the people-oriented policies and PWDs-centred projects championed by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the president on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities (OSSAPSEO) in the past one year which according to her, have direct bearing on the lives of PWDs community in Nigeria.
" As a concerned Nigerian and one who have an undying passion for improving the living condition of the vulnerable ones, especially the PWDs, I acknowledged the milestone achieved in the fight against all forms of societal discrimination towards the PWDs, the focus and energy exerted towards championing disabily inclusion in the education sector, sports and economic empowerment , particularly at the grassroot level championed by the OSSAPSEO in the past twelve months, are truly inspiring and commendable initiatives"
She assured that her foundation will continue to working hands in hands with the OSSAPSEO to achieve the lofty objectives to which the OSSAPSEO was established, as well as supporting President Tinubu's administration in achieving his campaign promises to Nigerians.
She added further, "as you step into the second year of your tenure, I pray for continued wisdom and excellent health for you, more commitment from your team, support and understanding of entire PWDs community and Nigerians at large to enable you to lead our people to posterity in the coming years.”
“Your actions and policies demonstrated in the last one year have clearly shown in no small measure, that you were well prepared for leadership role, and have the wherewithal to effectively champion inclusion for PWDs community in Nigeria to witness transformative socio-economic growth and enduring development like other members of the society” she said.
