...As SSAP Commends First Lady for her role in promoting Inclusion for PWDs in Nigeria

The Senior Special Assistant to the president on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, SSAP Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa has called on the global leaders to prioritize the inclusion of persons with special needs in the United Nations General Assembly in the future summit.
The senior presidential aide made the charge during the inaugural Annual Post-UN General Assembly World Press Conference in Abuja.
Speaking at the conference, the SSAP lauded president Tinubu's tireless efforts towards the emancipation of PWDs in the country, stating that the president has set a precedent for other world leaders to emulate.
"I'm proud to reaffirm President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's strong commitment to promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and justice for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)"
"The whole world had seen the administration's dedication to ensuring equity and equal opportunities for PWDs globally" he said
The senior presidential aide further emphasized that through the President Tinubu's committed leadership his office in particular, and the entire Tinubu's cabinet at large, are continuously being guided by the principles of "Nothing About Us Without Us" and "No One Left Behind," we're working tirelessly to promote inclusive development and address the unique challenges faced by PWDs"

Lamenting the exclusion of PWDs voices in the just concluded UN General Assembly the SSAP noted "I also expressed disappointment over the exclusion of PWDs from the recent UN Summit of the Future and called on global stakeholders to integrate disability perspectives into the Pact for the Future"
Matching his words with action for the global leaders to key into the disabily inclusion project for the PWDs at national, regional and global stage, the SSAP honoured Her Excellency, First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu as Nigeria's 'FACE' of the Summit of the Future for Persons with Disabilities.
Acknowledging the the First Lady role as the champion of inclusion for PWDs in Nigeria the SSAP commended her for her remarkable advocacy for PWDs and vulnerable groups in the country
He said, "Her Excellency Sen. Oluremi Tinubu's tireless humanitarian contributions have made her a beacon of hope for many"
"I'm honored to work alongside her in promoting inclusive development" the SSAP added
